When I was a little girl growing up in the deep South in the family of Martin Luther King, Sr. and Alberta Christine Williams King, who became affectionately known as Daddy King and Mama King, I had no idea that one day I would become a Christian Evangelist and write the song Walk On Water in honor of my father who taught me the miracles of Jesus Christ. My grandfather, Daddy King taught me compassion for the least of these that Jesus spoke of in the Bible. My uncle, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. taught me the Agape Love of Jesus Christ. My father, Rev. Alfred Daniel Williams King taught me about and helped me to believe in the miracles of Jesus Christ. Deep in my heart l believed that Jesus walked on water; that Simon Peter walked on water; and now I have a desire to learn to walk on water as well. I truly believe, Lord help my unbelief. This song, Walk On Water with a second title “Is That You?”, is dedicated first to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; and then to my daddy, A. D. King.
